27 November 2018 LOCATION - CMCA RV PARK IN EUSTON

We gather at the CMCA RV Park in Euston, arriving early enough to walk over to the club for afternoon tea, followed by happy hour (supplied) at 4.30pm. We’ll sit around the fire pit at happy hour until we’re ready for our first dinner together as a group. Tonight, we’ll enjoy a delicious barbecue feast with barbecue meat, salad and bread rolls provided. BYO drinks. This first night is a great opportunity to get to know each other. Unpowered site, potable water and dump point are available.

28 November 2018 DESTINATION - PENTAL ISLAND CARAVAN PARK

We leave Euston early this morning heading towards Swan Hill, where we will camp at Pental Island Caravan Park on the river. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. Happy hour is again provided (chips, dip, cheese and crackers). Powered site, potable water and toilets are available. Travel is approximately 209 kilometres.

29 November 2018 LOCATION - PENTAL ISLAND CARAVAN PARK

This morning we embark on an adventure to Pioneer Village. The coach will pick us up at 12.30pm and our afternoon at Pioneer Village will include a one-hour cruise along the Murray River aboard the PS Pyap. The coach will collect us at 4pm where we will return to camp. After spending some time to freshen up, the group will head back to the village for dinner at 7.30pm and the ‘Heartbeat of the Murray Laser Spectacular’ night show.

30 November 2018 DESTINATION - COCO BEND CARAVAN PARK

We leave this morning, making our way to Echuca / Moama. This picture-perfect setting makes for great place to relax for the rest of the day.  Enjoy some R&R along the banks of the Murray and perhaps enjoy a game or two soaking up the sunshine. Powered sites, dump point, water, laundry, toilet and showers are available. Travel is approximately 162 kilometres.

1 December 2018 LOCATION - COCO BEND CARAVAN PARK

A Coach will collect us at 9.30am and take us to the port. There’s plenty of free time to explore the port, and at 11.30am we will board the historic paddle steamer. The steamer will cruise along the river to a winery where the group will stop for lunch and a glass of beer/wine/soft drink (included). Enjoy some wine tasting if you wish whilst at the winery, then return to the port at approximately 2.00pm. The coach will collect us at 3:00pm to take us back to camp.

2 December 2018 DESTINATION -  JERILDIRE CARAVAN PARK

This morning we will head to Jerilderie, Ned Kelly Country, where we will stay at the Jerilderie Caravan Park.  Enjoy free time to explore the Ned Kelly history in town and meet again for dinner at the local club (2 course Chinese dinner included). Powered sites, water, toilets, showers, laundry and dump point are available. Travel is approximately 180 kilometres.

3 December 2018 DESTINATION - BEECHWORTH CARAVAN PARK

Today, we make our way to beautiful Beechworth, steeped in history, staying at the Lake Sambell Caravan Park and stopping at the historic Eldorado on our way.  Powered sites, dump point, water, toilet, showers and laundry are available.  Travel is approximately 234 kilometres.

4 December 2018 LOCATION - BEECHWORTH CARAVAN PARK

Enjoy organised tours of Beechworth, discovering the local history surrounding the area. Take in the guided walking tours, as well as a Ned Kelly walk, and enjoy the historic buildings of the town. Learn about the gold and Chinese history, and take a look at the Kelly Vault.  There is so much to see here!  We will get together for happy hour in the afternoon (happy hour provided- cheese, crackers, dip and chips).

5 December 2018 DESTINATION -  OMEO CARAVAN PARK

Leaving Beechworth, we travel to Omeo through the Snowy Mountains, and spend the night at Omeo Caravan Park.  Apart from seeing genuine German cuckoo clocks at the cuckoo shop, Omeo has a lot of other interesting history. Powered sites, dump point, water, laundry, toilet and showers available. Travel is approximately 215 kilometres.

6 December 2018 LOCATION - OMEO CARAVAN PARK

After a morning of relaxation, we will be collected by a coach at 1:00 pm (time to be confirmed) to enjoy a tour of the Chinese Goldfield, followed by a tour through the town, which is run by the local historic society.

7 December 2018 DESTINATION - TOSTAREE COTTAGES AND TAVERN

From Omeo, we travel a scenic route to Tostaree Cottages and Tavern. Enjoy some free time in the morning at Omeo, relaxing and enjoying the countryside. Dinner is included this night. Travel is approximately 134 kilometres.

8 December 2018 DESTINATION – BEMM RIVER CARAVAN PARK

Travel to Bemm River Caravan Park and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing by the river (happy hour included – cheese, crackers, dip and chips).  Limited powered sites, water, toilets, showers, laundry and dump point available. Travel is approximately 103 kilometres.

9 December 2018 DESTINATION - TATHRA

We will be staying in the small seaside town of Tathra for our final night together. Experience free time in the afternoon to enjoy a coastal walk, followed by happy hour and dinner at the local woodfired pizza restaurant (dinner included). Travel is approximately 230 kilometres.

10 December 2018 DESTINATION - UNKNOWN

This morning we say farewell to our new-found safari friends and travel on to our next independent destination.  Safe travels!
