We would like to advise members of a scam on the Members' Market. 

People with vehicles advertised are being contacted by a person looking to purchase their vehicle sight unseen via bank transfer or PayPal. 

If you are unsure about the legitimacy of a buyer, do not proceed. 

Usually the circumstances surrounding the purchase are unusual, and you must be cautious when dealing with such potential buyers. 

We like to advise members that if the offer seems too good to be true, it's usually because it is. 

Please exercise extra caution when dealing with potential buyers and ensure you are dealing with a genuine buyer.
