Mother Nature has once again reminded us how influential weather conditions can be when travelling in our RVs. The Bundaberg region has recently experienced severe flooding. Fortunately, the impact on our RV Park was minimal, affecting only the northern side, which borders a significant watercourse. All members staying at the park were safely positioned on the southern side, ensuring everyone remained safe and secure.
Bundaberg continues to be a very popular destination for our members, and we look forward to returning later this year when we host the 39th National Rally in the region this coming October.
Another matter currently on the minds of many members is the continued rise in fuel prices. While we remain hopeful that prices will stabilise in the near future, the current increases are understandably impacting travel plans. Similar to the travel patterns we observed during COVID-19, we anticipate that members will continue travelling, although perhaps covering shorter distances and spending longer periods in their chosen destinations. We are already seeing some impact on participation in our Safaris, which will continue to be delivered through our provider, Xpedition Tag Along Tours.
Whatever your travel plans may be, we encourage everyone to travel safely and enjoy the journey.
