Unfortunately we would like to advise members that we have received reports of scammers approaching members via the Members' Market. 

These scammers will contact members (via email) wanting to purchase their advertised vehicle. In most circumstances, they will suggest purchasing the vehicle sight unseen as they live remotely and ask for banks details to be supplied. 

We do not recommend giving anyone personal/bank details unless you have met with them and are confident it is a genuine sale. 

Unfortunately it is hard to stop scammers from approaching members, but we can advise members to show caution when approached by potential buyers. 

We like to remind members that if an offer sounds too good to be true, it is generally because it is too good to be true.
