CEO Weekly Message

Yesterday marked the start of the Dam Fine Rally at Ross Dam in Townsville, with the event returning for the first time in several years. It's fantastic to see such a great turnout, with members from across the country coming together to enjoy the camaraderie and lifestyle that make our club so special.

The official opening is at 10am today (Saturday), and I'll have the opportunity to speak with members about the future of our club. I'll be sharing our vision for sustainable growth and how we're working to ensure the CMCA remains strong, relevant and well positioned for future generations of RV travellers.

I'll also be talking about our goal of becoming a true "People's Club" - one that welcomes everyone who shares a passion for the RV lifestyle, values community, and wants to be part of something bigger. Together, we can continue building an even stronger and more vibrant club for all.

Once the Dam Fine Rally wraps up, we'll be heading to Mareeba for our popular Christmas in July event, taking place from 23–27 July at Davies Park, Mareeba. If you're travelling through the region, we'd love to see you there. Just arrive at the gate and join in the fun!

On Monday, we'll also officially open CMCA RV Park Dalby in Queensland's Western Downs region. If you're nearby, we'd love you to join us at 1:30pm on Myall Street, where Councillor Kaye Maguire will perform the official opening.

As always, thank you for your continued support of our club.

Safe travelling
Richard
