CEO Weekly Message

As the effects of COVID continue, some states and territories continue to endure certain restrictions on travel. In particular, Western Australia does not currently permit anyone from NSW, VIC or QLD into that state without quarantine requirements. The flexibility of other states though is encouraging. Many of our CMCA RV Parks continue to operate during this time, with both parks in Tasmania (Railton and Geeveston) welcoming members and the general public. Our parks in Penola, SA and Temora, NSW also remain open to travellers within those regions. In Queensland, CMCA RV Park Bundaberg remains open while both parks in Ingham and Charleville have closed due to the extreme weather conditions experienced at this time of the year. These parks will reopen around March/April, and we will advise members once dates have been confirmed. We continue to seek volunteer custodians for all CMCA RV Parks. It is a great opportunity to manage park operations and maintenance and meet fellow members and RV travellers, and in return you will receive a powered site at no cost. Custodians may stay for as long or as little as they like; all assistance is appreciated. If you would like to assist or learn more, please contact NHQ and we can detail the process and discuss possible opportunities.
