Our thoughts are with those affected by the devastation of Cyclone Alfred. Throughout the week, we reached out to members to ensure you stay safe and secure your belongings so that you can minimise the impact of the wind and rain. Please avoid travelling during adverse weather conditions, follow road closure updates and the advice of government and emergency authorities. 

Today is a special day within the Club as we celebrate International Women’s Day and recognise the invaluable contributions of women in the community and at CMCA. In our office, women play a crucial role, making up nine of our eleven staff members. I can confidently say this is the strongest team we have ever had - dedicated, professional, and committed to serving our members. Many of you have met them in person or spoken to them on the phone over the years. I would also like to acknowledge the work of our wonderful female volunteers, including Jo Tremain, a sitting Director. The contribution from all is enormous and I sincerely thank them for their hard work and dedication.
