CMCA would like to advise that CMCA Greenpatch Campground in Gordonvale, QLD is temporarily closed from today, Tuesday 16 September 2025. 

This decision was made jointly by CMCA and Cairns Regional Council staff in response to ongoing antisocial behaviour from nearby residents, which has led to complaints from Custodians and guests. 

There is no confirmed reopening date at this stage. Cairns Regional Council staff will keep CMCA informed on progress, and once we are confident the campground can operate without these issues, we will reopen. 

The park was planned to remain open until the end of November this year; however, this may change depending on circumstances. CMCA Greenpatch Campground has been a very popular destination for our members, and we hope to continue managing this campground on behalf of council for years to come.
