CEO Weekly Message

This week has been a very exciting one for the Board and management as we hosted the biennial joint Board meeting between CMCA and NZMCA in Darwin. The joint meetings involve the exchange of ideas, concepts and opportunities between the two clubs and, as always, this one was very successful. These meetings have been in place since 2016 where both Boards gather at a different location in Australia or New Zealand. From these meetings new initiatives have been developed including RV Parks and the Greenfund project, which is an environmental support program. NZMCA will turn 70 in 2026, where CMCA will turn 40 - a big difference in experience; however, in New Zealand they are the sole RV club, whereas, CMCA has extensive competition.

Hosting the meeting in Darwin gave the CMCA Board the opportunity to showcase the two CMCA RV Parks located in the Northern Territory, CMCA RV Park Humpty Doo (which is often at full capacity) and CMCA RV Park Batchelor. The New Zealand Directors were very impressed with the parks.

These meetings are vital to maintaining a strong bond with our friends in New Zealand and we look forward to strengthening this relationship over the years.

Safe travelling
