As restrictions surrounding the number of people permitted at public gatherings continue to ease, I would like to advise members that chapter and SIG events can recommence from 1 July 2020. The number of members permitted at these events is subject to State and Territory Government restrictions on people attending public gatherings. I would like to emphasise that chapter and SIG presidents will ultimately be responsible for ensuring COVID-19 restrictions are always adhered to. If breaches occur, chapter presidents and attending members will be liable and may receive a fine from the authorities. We have forwarded correspondence to all chapter presidents outlining the procedures and requirements when conducting events. NHQ staff will contact chapter & SIG secretaries to see whether any website updates are required to reflect future events. I would like to remind members that at this time only chapter members are permitted to attend; visitors and non-members are not permitted.
