Travel the Australia’s west coast and visit some of the state’s most popular sites. Adventure across the top of Australia and down the coast exploring the Kimberleys, Bungle Bungles and all that this spectacular coast line has to offer, including Dirk Hartog Island. Sometimes travelling solo can be a little daunting, especially when you’re covering a lot of ground over a long period of time. If this sounds like you, joining us on this safari would be a great opportunity to explore the west coast in the comfort of your own vehicle and with a group of like-minded people.

Itinerary

Day 1 Meet and greet at Katherine Holiday Village – enjoy a bistro dinner together for our first night

Day 2 Travel to Victoria River Roadhouse

Day 3 Travel to Lake Argyle (powered site)

Day 4 Free day to explore, go on a cruise (TBC)

Day 5 Travel to Kunnannura and stay at Kimberleyland Waterfront Holiday Park (powered)

Day 6 Coach pick up to enjoy a full day tour at El Questro (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea included)

Day 7 Travel to Bungle Bungles and stay at the Bungle Bungle Caravan Park for three nights

Day 8 A full day 4WD tour through the Bungle Bungles (morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner included)

Day 9 Enjoy a free day to relax or explore

Day 10 We travel to Fitzroy Crossing and stay at Fitzroy Crossing Inn for three nights

Day 11 Enjoy a tour of the Mimbi Caves

Day 12 Free day to drive out to Geikie Gorge National Park and explore the gorge

Day 13 We travel to Derby and stay at Kimberley Entrance Caravan Park for 3 nights (powered site)

Day 14 Enjoy a free day to explore the area, perhaps take a tour of the Horizontal Waterfall

Day 15 Enjoy a free day to relax or explore

Day 16 Travel to Broome Caravan Park for 2 nights (powered site)

Day 17 Enjoy a free day to relax or explore

Day 18 Travel to picturesque Eighty Mile Beach staying at the caravan park for one night (unpowered site)

Day 19 Travel to Port Headland for one night (staying in free camp)

Day 20 Travel to Karratha where we stay at the Pilbara Discovery Park for 2 nights

Day 21 Enjoy a free day to relax or explore

Day 22 Travel to Onslow staying one night at the Onslow Ocean view Caravan Park (powered site)

Day 23 Travel to the famous Ningaloo staying 3 nights at Ningaloo Lighthouse Holiday Park

Day 24 Enjoy a tour on a glass bottom boat over the spectacular reefs

Day 25 Free day to relax or explore

Day 26 Travel to Carnarvon for one night staying at Oasis Caravan Park (powered site)

Day 27 Travel to the famous Monkey Mia, staying at Monkey Mia Caravan Park for 3 nights (powered site)

Day 28 Enjoy a ½ day tour of the famous Dirk Hartog Island (morning tea and boat transfers included)

Day 30 Travel to Kalbarri staying at Murchison House Station and enjoy a self-guided tour of the homestead (unpowered site)

Day 31 Murchison House Station – free day to relax or explore

Day 32 Travel to Geraldton staying 2 nights at the Batavia Coast Caravan Park and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery (powered site)

Day 33 Free day to relax and explore

Day 34 Travel to the famous Pinnacles staying at Cervantes Holiday Park for 2 nights (powered site)

Day 35 Bus tour through the Pinnacles

Day 36 We finish our safari in Perth and enjoy a farewell dinner together (powered site)
