Travel through spectacular North Queensland and into Northern Territory. Visit Paronella Park, the Undara Lava Tubes, stay at Adels Grove and cruise Lawn Hill Gorge. Spot a crocodile in Karumba, or perhaps you may spot one at Kakadu National Park where you will be enjoying a full day tour. This safari is a great opportunity to explore Kakadu National Park, King Ash Bay, Mataranka Homestead, all while staying on-site at iconic pubs along the way.

Itinerary
4 May Meet at Paronella Park and enjoy a welcome dinner together getting to know each other. We will stay here 2 nights (no power)
5 May Exlore Paronella Park using your pass to go on a day and/or night tour of this incredible place. Paronella Park was built when one man had a dream and built his castle beside Mena Creek Falls. Discover bridges, tunnels and amazing range of tropical plants.
6 May After a late start we head off to Innot Springs, where you can enjoy a bath in the hot springs (powered site)
7 May We head off to Undara and stay in the caravan park for two nights (powered sites, happy hour)
8 May Enjoy a guided tour of the Lava Caves where you can enjoy this natural geological wonder
9 May Travel to Croydon and stay in a free camp overnight (no power, happy hour)
10 May Travel to Karumba and stay two nights in Karumba Gulf Country Caravan Park (powered site)
11 May Enjoy a cruise spotting crabs, crab handling, crocodiles and birds (morning tea and lunch included)
12 May Travel to the iconic Burke & Wills Roadhouse and stay one night (some power)
13 May Travel to the beautiful Adels Grove (some dirt road getting into there), staying here for three nights (no power)
14 May Enjoy a half day tour of the incredible Lawn Hill National Park and cruise of Lawn Hill Gorge
15 May Relax today and enjoy a dinner together (dinner included)
16 May Travel to Camoweel and stay overnight in Camoweel Caravan Park (powered site)
17 May Travel along the Barkly Highway to Barkly Homestead and stay one night (powered site, happy hour)
18 May Today we travel to Cape Crawford and stay at the Iconic Heartbreak Hotel (some power, happy hour)
19 May Travel to beautiful King Ash Bay on the water and stay in the campground for two nights. If you enjoy fishing, this is the place to be.
20 May Relax, explore or fish (dinner included)
21 May We leave King Ash Bay and make our way to Daly Waters stopping at a free camp on the way (no power, happy hour)
22 May We arrive at Daly Waters and stay at another the iconic Daly Waters Pub’s campground for one night (power, happy hour)
23 May We travel to Mataranka Homestead staying one night and check out the history of the homestead and look out for wildlife in the rivers. The movie ‘We of the Never Never’ was filmed here and remnants of the old homestead still stand. We will all get together for a dinner at the Homestead that night (powered site, dinner included)
24 May Travel to Katherine and stay two nights at the Manbulloo Homestead, on the banks of the Katherine River
25 May Free day to stock up, relax and explore
26 May We travel to Kakadu National Park and stay at Aurora Campground Resort for three nights (powered site, dinner included)
27 May Enjoy a full day coach tour of Kakadu
28 May Free day (book your tours or just sit back and relax)
29 May We travel to our last stay at Litchfield Tourist Park, on the doorstep of Litchifield National Park (a farewell dinner is included)
30 May Today we say farewell to our new-found friends and continue our independent travels
