Murray River Run 2025

Following the path of the Murray River, take in the abundant wildlife and stunning natural surrounds.  This safari gives you the opportunity to take a relaxing ride on a paddle steamer, watch a fabulous laser show on right on the Murray River itself.

Day 1  Meet at Murray Bridge Marina Camping and Caravan Park for a meet and greet happy hour followed by dinner cruise on the Murray River (dinner and cruise included)

Day 2  Travel to Overland Corner Hotel staying in unpowered site behind the hotel. Dinner together at the pub tonight (dinner included, drinks not included)

Day 3 Today we travel to Martins Bend Campground, Berri on the banks of the river for one night (unpowered). Camp fire at night (if permitted). We will stop at Banrock Station Wetlands for morning tea (provided) on our way. 

Day 4  Today we travel to Wentworth; where the Murray and Darling Rivers meet. Travellers can leave Berri at their leisure and we will re-group outside of Renmark Community Museum. Campfire (if permitted) and happy hour together.

Day 5 Today we travel to Euston and stay at the RV Park. Take a scenic walk or enjoy dinner Euston Club.

Day  6 We travel to Swan Hill at the Big 4 Riverside. We will stop on the way for lunch at Lake Tyrrel. We will stay here for two nights and enjoy happy hour in the afternoon.

Day  7  You get to enjoy some free time in the morning. In the afternoon, we will visit the Pioneer Village and a have fun on a 1 hour cruise on the Murray River. That night we will be treated to the amazing “Heartbeat of the Murray” laser spectacular.

Day  8 Today we travel to Echuca where we will stay for 2 nights (NRMA Park). We will stop for morning tea at Kerang and lunch at Torrumbarry Weir. We'll enjoy happy hour on the banks of the river later in the afternoon with a campfire (if permitted).

Day  9  Today we will enjoy a couple hours at Echuca Port then hope on board a paddle steamer to Morrisons Winery for lunch and wine tasting (all included) and returning to Echuca by paddle steamer.

Day  10 We travel today to Rutherglen staying at the caravan park for 2 nights stopping for morning tea and lunch on the way.

Day  11 Free time today to stock up, look around or relax, why not visit a winery or two. A great place to start is the Rugherglen Information Centre.

Day 12 Today we travel to Murray River Reserve an unpowered camp site on the banks of the Murray River for one night where we will have a campfire (if permitted) and games. Bring along your camp oven if you want to try cooking something on the fire! We will stop at Albury for lunch on the way

Day 13 Today we head for our final destination of Khancoban, a short day of travel. We will meet in the afternoon at 4pm for our final happy hour (nibbles provided). We'll have a communal barbecue dinner in camp kitchen (BYO food).

Day  14 Today we continue on our independent travels.
