Itinerary

Day 1 We begin our safari at Charley Creek, Chinchilla. Enjoy our first happy hour together followed by a group meal.

Day 2 Travel to St George, staying at Pelican’s Rest Caravan Park for two nights. Free time in the afternoon to stock up. Water and power available.

Day 3 We are collected by coach and taken on a cotton farm and winery tour, including lunch at the winery (all included).

Day 4 Travel to the iconic Nindigully Pub for a one-night stay. Enjoy a cooked meal together at the pub in the evening (meal included).

Day 5 Travel to Charlotte Plains for a farm stay (one night). Soak in the atmosphere - and one of their artesian baths on the edge of the creek - as the sun goes down. Campfires (where permitted) and a camp oven cook-up.

Day 6 Free day at Charlotte Plains to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Day 7 Travel to Thargomindah for a two-night stay. Power and water available, with free time in the afternoon to explore.

Day 8 Guided tour of the historic hydro display with sunset nibbles and drinks. A pass is provided to explore other historic buildings in town.

Day 9 Travel to another iconic pub, the Noccundra Hotel, for a one-night stay. Enjoy a group meal at the pub in the evening (meal included).

Day 10 Travel to Eromanga for an overnight stay. In the afternoon, enjoy a dinosaur tour at the Natural History Museum.

Day 11 Travel to Quilpie for a one-night stay (accommodation TBA).

Day 12 Travel to Gidgee Camp at Morven for our final night together. Enjoy happy hour and a farewell dinner (provided).
